November results and December goals

November results

Well, it really was a great month of poker for me. I got some confidence through thinking hard about the game, skyping, forums and coaching. It's all new to me, but I'm feeling good about where I'm going. My stats reading and player reading has gone through the roof, and I still think this is where the biggest gains are to be made next month.

$ wise, I had an upswing for once on FTP. 8ptbb/100 over a small sample at NL25, so nothing to really get excited about, I still need to play more hands. Still can't be upset with that result.

December:
Christmas is around the corner, and I want a big fat poker bankroll Santa. I'm going to have a crack at NL50 OnGame where the games are soft and see how I go. Will mostly 2 table NL50 until my BR is above 30BI's, or until I drop down to 20 BI's. If my BR goes up I'll 3 table, if it goes down I'll retreat to NL30 again. I haven't worked out how long til I clear my OnGame bonus, but I aim to do the two bonuses I have line up before leaving this site, if I leave this site.

Some game goals to work on:
* Work hard at getting reads on OnGame villains, work out where the money is here
* Work hard at optimising some postflop plays. Like understand when a raise only gets worse to fold, better to call, and where to fold a big pair
* Work more at getting questions together about different plays
* 3 bet more and work out where it's a good move.
